Emvali
Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 October 2026
These terms cover use of Emvali, an email validation API, and this website. Emvali is operated by Ryno Brits, based in South Africa. By creating an account or calling the API, you agree to these terms. Paid orders are also covered by Paddle’s buyer terms, linked below.
The service
Emvali checks an email address and returns the result in one request. The checks are syntax, MX and DNS, disposable-domain, role-account, and free-provider signals, plus a risk score. The API is at api.emvali.com. The website is at www.emvali.com.
An authenticated validation counts toward the monthly plan, including an address Emvali marks invalid. A rejected request (HTTP 400) does not.
Accounts and API keys
You sign up with an email address and a password. Emvali stores the password only as a scrypt hash. Signup creates a free account and shows an API key once. Emvali stores a SHA-256 hash of that key, and a short prefix so a key can be identified. It does not store the key itself. You are responsible for keeping API keys secret and for activity on your account.
Plans and prices
Prices are in US dollars.
- Free: 500 validations a month, at no charge.
- Starter: $12 a month for 5,000 validations.
- Growth: $29 a month for 25,000 validations.
- Overage: about $0.004 per validation after the included amount.
The free plan does not require a payment. Before a paid order, checkout shows the plan, the price, and whether the charge repeats.
Orders and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paddle handles checkout, billing, invoicing, and sales tax or VAT. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to purchases. Checkout asks you to accept these terms and the refund policy before you pay. Emvali does not store your card number.
For a question about the API, email support@emvali.com . For an order, invoice, tax receipt, or refund, contact Paddle. You can start from the receipt email or at paddle.net.
Refunds and cancellation
You can request a refund within 14 days of a charge. Paddle handles the refund. You can cancel a paid subscription at any time. It stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not charged again after that. The details are on the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Use Emvali to validate addresses for a purpose you are allowed to pursue. Do not use it to break the law, to attack the service, or to interfere with other people’s accounts. We may suspend an API key or account that is used in that way.
Your information
The privacy policy describes what Emvali stores. Addresses you submit for validation are processed to produce the result. They are not kept as a list.
The service as it is
Emvali is an online API. Checks such as MX lookup depend on DNS and on the mail domain. A result is a signal, not a guarantee that an inbox will accept mail. We do not promise that the API will be uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law where you live does not allow us to limit.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change. For a purchase, Paddle’s buyer terms govern that purchase. Continued use of the API after the date changes means you accept the updated terms for use of Emvali.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. That choice does not change the law that applies to your contract with Paddle for a purchase.
